The Marshall Vol. Fire Department just had their busiest month in the Fire Department's 48 Years of being around.  July 2012 showed the members responding to 32 calls.  Talking to some of the members that have been on the longest they said that use to be a yearly total!!!

The Marshall Vol. Fire Department had the 2012 fire department dinner on Sunday January 27, 2013 at the 36 Saloon in Rockville.  It was a good night held by many firefighters and there wife's and girlfriends.  At the end of the night after all the fun everyone had awards were handed out.

Department awards:

Officer of the year:  Kenneth Ryan Sr, Chief

Firefighter of the year: Cajetan "Casey" Jalowiec

Oops of the year:  Casey Jalowiec             (Casey Killed the Truck)

The Marshall Vol. Fire Dept. has lost another member of the Fire Department.  Retired Firefighter Max Keller.  Firefighter Keller lost his battle with cancer.  Thoughts go Out to his Family, and fellow member 2nd Lt. Tony Keller.
